With Get Me! you have a simple tool to find other people and let them find you.

Open the application, enables sharing, send your temporary code to who you are interested and thats it… As long as you keep that code (and sharing active) people who know it will be able to follow you.
Anytime you want you can get a new code and have that all the people who followed you can no longer track your movements.

Unlike the excellent "Find my Friends" developed by Apple this app allows you to share more immediately, without requiring the user to accept requests of others but communicating directly your temporary code. Everything is based on the mechanism of "publication" rather than on "requests".
Furthermore, this app will be available soon for the new Windows Phone so you can have a way to share location with friends that dont own a iPhone/iPod.

WARNINGS
Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.

The minimum location refresh time is set by default to 1 min with a resolution of 100 m. These settings are designed for people walking in an urban area. Its recommended to change these settings carefully from time to time reflecting your current situation, for example: if traveling by car would be good to set the refresh time to 3 mins or more with a minimum resolution of 1 Km in order to not waste battery life, especially if you decide to share your location even when the application runs in the background.

In general the rule is: the higher the refresh time (and the required accuracy) is, the less battery consumption will be; the lower the refresh time (and the required accuracy) is, the more accurate updates will be and other user will be able to follow you flawlessly.
